An Internship That Demands –
and Delivers

An internship should not be a drudgery, a repetitive chore or a limited opportunity. It should be a chance to see what you can do. It should ask you to show your basic skills; then give you the chance to expand them. It should challenge you. You should leave your interns’ desk behind a far better journalist – across the board --than you were when you first sat down.

Randall-Reilly Publishing offers internships where UA journalism students can test themselves, expand their abilities and use skills in everything from reporting to copy editing, story brainstorming to page design, editorial planning to illustration selection. Some of our interns have produced cover stories.

We want our interns to be part of the entire process of producing a magazine.  We publish trade magazines – some of the best in the country – but you won’t just be writing one kind of story. Take a look at what our interns have done recently, and let them tell you something about each of these stories.

Send us an application even if you just want to talk about what you do as a Randall-Reilly Publishing Company intern
